Here are my outfits from this weekend.
1-4: Saturday, for day and night. I was going for an edgy casual look. I paired my zebra tee with BF jeans and a black leather moto. Wore my leopard flats during the day for errands and running around town. For the nighttime events (dinner and going to see John Hodgman perform downtown - he was awesome!) I swapped out the flats for my platform booties and added a black scarf for evening weather. The weather overall this day was unseasonably warm, in case you're wondering about bare ankles in Boston in November!
5-7: Sunday, for fancy brunch in honor of MIL's birthday. Thank you to everyone who weighed in earlier about what top to pair with this bubble skirt! I ended up going with the capelet, as you can see (Angie's favorite and the favorite of many others who commented on my earlier thread). I wore my black wool swing coat over the top, I don't really think it's the best pairing, but it is roomy enough to accomodate the capelet underneath, and the weather dropped like 20 degrees overnight so a warmer coat was necessary.
Outfit details:
Saturday: Edista tee, Gap jeans and belt, Levi's leather moto, Maxx New York bag, Munro flats/Eileen Fisher booties.
Sunday: Anthro capelet, Gap tee, Allsaints skirt, Everybody booties, Maxx New York bag.
