I have been so busy that I haven't been able to participate in the WIW challenge. Here are a few of my very casual, working girl on the run, gotta get things done on my few days off outfits!! I wore my new plaid Paige Denim skinny jeans with a winter white top from White House Black Market. Today I am wearing a J Crew lightweight merino turtle neck sweater and J Crew toothpick jeans. Keeping it all simple and comfortable! The colors are all new for me and based on my light summer swatches.

Oh I love this! One of my favourites of yours. Those plaid pants are fab and I have the wantsies for a sweater like yours. Forgot to say I love the grey jeans and blue sweater too! (got carried away with the first pic :))

I like both outfits! The plaid pants are great. I think we're sweater twins - I just bought a lightweight turtleneck from J Crew in the same light blue color.

What colour do they call those toothpick jeans? They look superb on you. Love the pale blue sweater for you, too.

Wow - these outfits are both great on you SF! Loving these colors - and those plaid pants just make me smile! Very current and fit you perfectly! Also - amazed at how great the fluid fit of the blue turtleneck works for you - I think you've found your sweet-spot with that one!

Those are great outfits!
What I like is that the tops are a little longer and more fluid than some of your other tops, but still give you a relatively slim fit, so you're still "yourself", not drowning in a big top, just looks more modern and more elegant, somehow.

What unfrumped said, this is a great look on you The only thing I notice is (& know one photo doesn't tell the whole story) the necklace with the turtleneck is a bit distracting to me.

I agree with everyone else.

Those plaid jeans are great on you. I read somewhere that you think loose fits are difficult for you - you can definitely wear these tailored fit jeans to perfection and can add prints which are harder for the more chunky legged (I am talking about myself) to wear.

You are getting better and better! Love both outfits and the colors. Agree with Caro about the necklace. I would probably skip the necklace and go for some more bracelets - stacking bracelets - for a more modern look. Also, a bit larger earring - nothing to big and definitely not long as you have a longish face - perhaps a small hoop.
