WIW week of 5-22

I am missing one day - did not have time to take a picture.

#1: Brook Brothers magenta shirt+Ny and Co skirt; Nick and Zoe knit blazer over AT top and Paige bootcuts; AT shirt with Halogen skirt (I was concerned that the last one looked a bit matronly but it looks OK in the photo).
#2 - I was going to wear the blue silk shirt with white denim but it got thumbs down from DH (he just thought "it looked strange"). I switched to the Target cowlneck top instead. What do you think?

I love the blue blouse and white jeans. I don't think it looks strange at all. In fact, I think you look wonderful.

These are all nice, but I especially like the one DH thought was strange! I wonder if he thought the contrast was too high? Does he like the cobalt blouse paired with something else?

The middle one in the first set is really nice! I love how the shoes pick up the top colors, adn the red jacket just sets it over the top.

Angie, that's a great idea but I feel like these blouses do not conform to your tutorial on how to keep the sleeves scrunched. The sleeves are either too stiff or too soft. I did try folding back the cuffs on the BB shirt but did not like the look.

Claire, yes, I think it is the high contrast of a solid color top with white jeans that is unusual. He does like the blouse worn in a more conventional way with black trousers.

All of these are fab! I love the pink button down with the polka dot pencil. It's adorable. You look so sleek and polished in all of these. Your use of color makes even simple outfits look fresh! Great week! You look amazing.

Makrame, these are great outfits. I especially like the middle one in the first group, and both in the second group. I really like the blue with the white denim! (sorry, hubs)
