Another week down!

1. Monday: This was a holiday, and these aren't in my capsule, but this was what I wore while teaching dance to a friend (I'm working on a teacher certification and needed 10 hours of practice teaching, and my friend volunteered to be my guinea pig).

2. Tuesday: I'm trying to wear all the unused items in my capsule, so this white button-down and waistcoat finally got a wear. I like a little bit of a playful menswear vibe, so I added a skinny scarf "tie."

3. Wednesday: This pencil skirt saw the light of day for the first time since purchase, ~12 years or so ago. I like --but don't love-- it, and it'll probably remain in my wardrobe as long as I have the matching jacket, since it's handy to have suit options on occasion. I also just bought these shoes, because I realized some of my things weren't getting worn because I didn't have shoes that worked well with them, so this pair filled an important hole. I don't care much about trends, but these happen to hit a few anyway (block heel, ankle tie, blushy/nude). They were comfortable enough until the afternoon, when they started rubbing the tops of my outer toes... hopefully they'll get better with some breaking in.

4. Thursday: Ugh, this skirt. I keep going back and forth on whether to keep it or not. It's not my preferred style (a little too unstructured, patterned, and... ladylike, maybe?... for my preference), and I have trouble finding tops for it (the white is a little off-white and looks dingy with white shirts). This gray shirt is the only top in my capsule that worked. But... every time I put it on, I love the swishy weight and movement. So... still undecided.

5. Friday: I probably wear this jacket too much, but I don't care. It's super versatile and I love it. I was regretting wearing heels on a Friday when a friend wanted to take a walk around lunch time, but it was too perfect a day to pass up, so I walked anyway and just dealt with slightly achy feet for a while.
