I can’t believe I took a picture of my outfit every day for a month!

(1) Saturday - bird walk at the grand opening celebration of our brand new state park. It is pretty big - 12,000 acres, with 30 miles of river frontage. Here I am in my glamorous birding gear, again. It was windy and cold first thing in the morning, but later it was very warm. We saw a leucistic red tail hawk. It was mostly white, but with a red tail. Leucism is not the same as albinism. A leucistic bird still has some pigment.

(2-3) Sunday - church - EF heather grey handkerchief hem dress with mustard shoes and vintage mustard bag. I don't like all the wrinkles in the dress. What would be the best way to hang it? I’ve been folding it across the hanger bar, but that’s not really working.

(4) Monday - gardening in the morning, then volunteering at the thrift store in the afternoon. Denim crops, EB embroidered top, KorkEase sandals, guitar strap bag.

(5) Tuesday - pink on Tuesday - jeans, Cons, bag and graphic tee with pink, and white denim jacket. It was 36 in the morning, the coldest so far this fall. Should my pants be rolled up more?

(6) Wednesday - errands with the dogs, to the drive up library and pet store. They loved it, and were appropriately excited. Levi curvy fit bootcut jeans, printed top, EB jacket, KorkEase sandals, seatbelt bag.

(7) Thursday - more pink. Denim crops, pink boatneck top, white denim jacket, FitFlops and seatbelt bag. Starting to come down with a cold, coughing my head off.

(8) Friday - Manhattan Short Film Festival - on the university campus, we had a bit of a walk from the parking garage to the theater, with lots of stairs, so I wanted good walkable shoes. Plus, it was still pretty hot outside, but I thought it would be cold in the theater. And I was right! We saw nine films in 2 1/2 hours, from eight different countries. Some were funny and some were sad or tragic, but all were excellent. I took cough drops and water for my coughing. White embroidered crops, boat neck top, denim jacket, FitFlop slip ons, seatbelt bag.

(9) Saturday - emergency shopping for a new coffee maker. I hadn’t worn these Johnston & Murphy sandals since I broke my toe last year, thinking they would be a problem. They actually fit fine, maybe better than before. Kuhl jacket, Lee crops, thrifted top.

(10-11) In the evening we went to our local Philharmonic. It was cooler and windy. This city is little, and so we knew one of the violinists, a good friend of our son’s, and one of the members of the chorus, a retired school counselor. I took more water and cough drops for my coughing. JCrew wool jacket, printed top, Chaps wide leg crops, silver oxfords and Furla bag.

(12) Sunday - church, Chaps denim dress with pink mules and bag.
