WIW: Wedge Sneakers/Linen Sweater

My 11 year old son officially thinks I am awesome... at least he thinks my shoes are, but I'll take it! He has deemed these the best heels that I own. I might not take it THAT far...

I found these shoes at a second hand store for $12 and decided that it was worth the money even if I try them on with everything and never wear them. A latte and a fashion magazine would be about the same price and just as entertaining/educational...so okay.

This is what I wore to work for casual Friday. I am so comfortable and my feet are terribly confused... are we in heels or sneakers? We have no idea...

Watch from a hosptial gift shop (when you live in hospitals, you get creative woth your shopping)

You're son is right - definitely a good look on you. Love the springy color mix too. BTW I have a very similar pair of wedge sneakers to these (right down to the colour) and they're so cool and comfy at the same time aren't they?

I was unsuccessful finding wedge sneakers here in Australia in this soft colour, and I think they work so well.

Love the shoes on you, especially with the watch and new cardigan. Looks great with the coral/watermelon top, but would also work with many other colors. I'm continually in awe of your jewelry and how it adds a little touch to an outfit, while working very harmoniously with it in terms of color and shape and not introducing too much new visual detail.

They look fabulous on you and I love the beautiful colours of your outfit. I have similar sneaks in black and I loved wearing them last year. Cannot wait to get them out again when the weather cools. Perfect footwear for those of us that like comfort but don't want to sacrifice height

I have been dying laughing all day at people's reactions to these shoes. I posted it on Facebook (just the shoes) and immediately got likes from college students and guys. Eventually all ages and demographics have liked it too, but the people in my life who know me well think I have lost my mimd! At work, the reaction was favorable, but everyone says they haven't seen this kind of shoe in real life, and/or only in fashion magazines. One girl asked if it was even possible to find them anywhere but second hand shops. Which cracked her up because she didn't mean it how it came out! This has been a very enlightening day!
