So, as many of you may have gathered from my recent shoe angst posts, I attended a wedding this past weekend. Happy to report that the shoes and my fussy feet were well-behaved all weekend, with some help from Angie's and my mutual friend Body Glide. Also, I noticed lots of women at the events were wearing low heels, wedges, or even flats! Very few teetering stilettos in sight! Yay comfy shoes!

Anyway, here are some pics of my outfits from the wedding and various wedding-associated events. Luckily it was in town so I had access to my entire closet and could make last minute decisions.

1-2: for the rehearsal dinner. Allsaints lace wrap LBD, Naot Pixie wedges, and Milly clutch. Very hot this day so I was glad to be wearing a very lightweight dress and comfortable shoes.

3-7: for the wedding itself. Turns out the dress was the only new item I bought for this entire weekend. Worn with my old Born wedges, British Wedding Hat, and my old J Crew gold clutch. These pictures are not great but you get the idea. The shoes lasted me and were perfectly comfortable through the ceremony, a procession down several city blocks (following a bagpiper!), cocktail reception, and dancing. I don't understand how people wear sitting shoes to weddings as they always end up being many hour long endurance events with lots of time on one's feet.
Lots of compliments on the hat, of course!

8: casual outfit for the farewell brunch the next morning. Sailor Rose liberty print dress with flat gladiators and a casual crossbody bag.
