So, I stopped into a local independent grocery to inquire about a deli job and then continued down the road to check up on a golf course job closer to home than the one I currently have ( that still has no shifts for me).
I was surprised when I walked in the door to hear, "there she is." Huh? Yep, here I am lol. Seems they were planning to call me that morning and I just happened to come back to check on my application I'd left prior. Long story short, I signed new hire paperwork, took a drug test, and technically now have 2 jobs and not one shift. Funny, but not really :/
As an aside, at the grocery today a gentleman paid for the man's things ahead of him in line when the credit card didn't go through. It was only $3, and I was about to pull out the last petty cash I had when the guy in front of me beat me to it. I said, thanks, 'cause I don't even have a job to be doing this! I love to see when folks pay it forward.
Here's my outfit - not fancy, but presentable. A pencil skirt (even if I owned one) would be too much for the environmental norm here. There's hardly pavement, you know?
Sorry for the side ramble. Thanks for looking and any comments!

chiffon front tee - Old Navy
cargo skirt - Old Navy
zipper flats - Jessica Simpson
reversible belt - ?? maybe Bass Outlet
tassel necklace - Beall's Outlet
