I had ideas of tweaking my full skirt spring idea and replacing my white skirt with my BF jeans. But then the blush moto didn't work over the cropped sweater, and I adjusted from there. Anyway, here's the final hoorah.
I thought it funny that I asked the BF for a quick WIW shot as I stopped by for a bottle of wine to bring to my GF's house. In true form, he did the candid shot thing. Shots one and two are the metal buttons of my blazer grabbing my webby sweater lol.
Had a *great* time and was totally happy in what I was wearing. I will say not only did one of my girlfriends, but 2 of my guy friends, had comments/questions about my boots or jeans. Same as last week. But everyone is super nice - no snideness whatsoever. Just means I am dressed up for my parts, even in distressed jeans, yes it's true.
As an aside, I paired the pale green blazer (not worn in pics but held) with my olive green boots. I would have loved to have taupe wedge sneakers for this! Or even silver . . . mmmm
