WIW (we) Sun/Mon - tax free shopping, turtle saving, test driving tops

Yesterday we went to Tampa so the BF could get his pants hemmed at Nordies and I had a couple H&M items to suss out in person. On the way I spied a turtle in the fast lane of the 589. BF of course stops in the middle of the median and races 70mph traffic in his Birkenstocks to get Mr. Turtle to safety. We drove about 20 min out of the way to find a good 'home' for him far from traffic.
Today was going to a matinee of Guardians of the Galaxy. I wore my Alloy purple button front as a test drive to see if I would indeed get wear from my 2 other soft button fronts bought yesterday. http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....rent-place I think all systems are go! Interestingly, the BF completely pooh poohed the blush and was all over the sapphire blue. I decided on both! ha ha ha

Both really nice outfits Mo. I love the shorts and am just a tad jealous you can wear short shorts And the proportions of the Monday outfit are so flattering, as is the colour of that shirt:) And well don't to you and the BF for your kindness towards the turtle.. I love it when people do things like that:) Kindness is very stylish

Thx, Deborah. I agree - kindness is very stylish. He found his doggie of 18 years in the middle of an expressway in northern FL in a downpour scared and dodging traffic. Had a buddy for life!

EDIT: and named him Freeway of course I named the turtle Webster since that was the street name we eventually turned down to find the open land for him.

Aw first off the turtle story is the best!! I'm glad you two were able to relocate Mr. Webster somewhere safer. Sounds like BF is a master critter freeway-rescuer ^^

Those jacquard shorts are yummy! I love that you didn't shy away from more shininess and paired with shiny sandals. The tee doesn't show as any worse for wear in the photo, but I do think that the wide neckline is best suited to no necklace or more to pendant or wider bib styles. The shorter choker style necklaces take a bit away from the easy-breeziness of that neckline, and I like the look best with pretty collarbones peeking out. The second outfit was a surprise (button-up shirt!) but I love it on you. A classic Mo color combo, with nice rich saturation. Looks especially fresh with white footwear. Also, BF matches this outfit nicely.
