Wiw: what I wore: volume on volume

NYDJ wide stripe trousers ( me in trousers-yay! These work in my regular size with a little button adjustment by seamstress). Least crotch pulling action of any trouser brand I have tried.

BCBG oversized striped mod jacket

pleione striped cross over top in black and white stripes.

( oh and where I would be without oversized earrings!)

This is also my entry for Bella's winter challenge.

Wibm: why I've been missing.

In true YLF lemming fashion I had an argument with a wrought iron coat rack. Iwas the loser in that match. This ended up leading to a complete mid toe fracture. Welcome me to the club of YLFers with foot issues!

Because I love you guys so much I squeezed my foot into pumps to take the pics and am now paying the price. I thought a few minutes would not hurt: think again. Just took some pain meds and sent a quick prayer to be forgiven for my misdeeds!! Back to birkis with socks on one foot and a prescription boot on the broken one.Do not be fooled by the pic: my left foot is twice the size of my right one and bruising extends up in to the ankle.

Whw: what hubs wore

To a recent temple unction with me. specifically please help me with acceptable footwear for an outfit like this in winter. His sandals with beige socks was much less offensive than his black loafers.

Sorry to hear about your toe. I've broken three throughout my life and it's not fun. Nothing you can do about it but ride it out. Hang in there.

I am blown away by your trouser outfit in #1 and #2. I never want to hear you say that you can't wear flares again because my word - do you rock them or what. WOW. The earrings are the Sona-magic here, and utterly delectable on you. I vote killer to the power of killer and one of your best, ever.

You and hubs are enchanting in #8.

I don't know what men usually wear with Indian garb in winter, but I would think a pair of lighter colored shoes would probably look good- maybe some tan loafers?

Oh you poor thing. I'm glad to see you've kept your stellar sense of humor through all the pain (or could that be the pain meds? lol!). You look really, really good in that first outfit. I love your hair pulled back with the big hoops. That should become a classic Sona look. I love your Indian garb too; I want to know what shoes you have on with your outfit. It must be hard to wear traditional clothing in a Minnesota winter! I think Parsley had hit the nail on the head with a footwear suggestion for hubs. Nice!
