Today's excitement was about taking DS to the school in the neighbourhood where we'll move next year when our house will be finished.
All I had to do was drop him off for 1 hour session in the classroom where they spent some time with the teacher, then sit down and have a coffe while I wait. But, I wanted to wear something tailored, structured and a bit more imaginative than just jeans and cardigan under the winter jacket, I mean - I got out of the house, I had to wear something un-frumpy.
So, I finally got to try navy + black (in striped top and jacket respectively), added some pattern mixing to the pot (the scarf) and finished off it up with the pop of color (belt, semi tuck, which you can't really tell but I knew I attempted it).
I really, really no longer want to buy tee shirts unless some very special piece comes my way. They just don't excite me, not even the striped ones. The clinginess and uncooperativeness factors just dampen the happiness factor for me.
On the way back we stopped by the building site, the works on the first houses (ours is one of 23) have started. Yay.
Thanks for looking, suggestions are always welcome.
