WiW: updated with better photos and new red purse

... but somewhat rumpled after a full day running around and sitting a lot etc, etc....

- ATL white jean jacket
- AT black cowl neck blouse
- AT outlet cascade pearls
- BR pencil skirt
- AT animal print belt (after seeing the photos, I tucked the loose hanging belt in)
- Moschino handbag
- Cole Haan sunglasses

This was the first night in months I needed a jacket, though not for very long. Because I am still running hot. I took it on and off tonight. During the day, I didn't need it at all.

During the day I wore this without denim jacket and with my favorite white handbag. After my haircut, I slipped into the consignment shop next door, and discovered this red purse. Red purse has been on my "want" list for eons now. I was looking for THE perfect red handbag, and this is it. It's exactly the shape I wanted, the scale (difficult to find the right size when you are petite as I am), and the tone of red... Exactly. And consignment prices... what could be better???

Critique: this could've worked just as well with blue denim jean jacket, or black cropped moto jacket. Or cardigan. I just missed my white jean jacket so that is what I grabbed first.

Great colours and silhouette on you, and what a lucky find to get the perfect bag! The only suggestion I would make is to shorten, or roll or scrunch the jacket sleeves.

Simple and polished -- this outfit lets you shine. I adore the red bag -- such a beautifully rich color! I, too, feel your shoulders are an asset. It your muscles were built up, like those amazing olympic swimmers, maybe you'd need to reconsider, but in your case, the shoulder line give you a sense of a little more height and I just see you as slim hipped.

Oh --- and I love the sandals, too! These were a great find.

I love the structured, ladylike nature of everything here - and the new handbag is a gorgeous deep shade of red.

I have been researching this bag on line, and it appears I may have really scored. Like, really really.... it may be at least a $1500 bag. Or, it's a most excellent knockoff. I keep trying to find a flaw with it that would be the tip off. The leather is gorgeous.
