This is my typical winter uniform. As I was reading Angie’s most recent trend articles, I realized that this look (which I wore for years) is no longer on trend. I often need something practical to wear during winter - which means no pants dragging to the ground and no flowy things that can get caught on winter coats.
For the last few winters, I wore cardigans and tunics over leggings. This year is a version of that, but with thicker, ponte leggings (which appear more like skinnies on me) and a shorter top. I generally wear booties with this outfit but I left those at work so I opted for long boots instead (which I have been wearing less of, unless I’m wearing skirted leggings.)
I do wonder if my uniform will change again. My spring/summer uniform is in the process of doing so, and I’m surprusingly welcoming the shift from dresses to wide leg pants and flares to boyfriend pants/jeans.
