I actually finished knitting this cocoon cardigan several months ago, but didn't get a chance to wear it out until this week since it doesn't fit under my coats. This week it's been hot out (in the 80's), but my lab is still freezing so I need to have a topper for indoors only. The cardigan is perfect for that!
I first wore it with a loose top, rolled up slim BF jeans, and chunky Naot sandals (1-3). I wasn't totally satisfied with this iteration, especially in the front view as I thought it was a little too unstructured and boxy.
So, I tried again today, with a more fitted outfit under the cardigan. I started with my bobeau wrap-front tube skirt and lightweight floral top. I added some waist definition with a skinny belt, and echoed the gold color of the belt with my gold sandals. I am much happier with this iteration! By the way, I didn't realize the cardi was on crooked in the back view photo here, but I think the asymmetrical line it makes there is kinda cool.
Also added some extra detail photos of the cardigan for knitter types.
