It had to be able to get dirty and go from 70 degrees to upper 40's. I added the globe necklace as a nod to the planetary theme of the evening
Tromped through sand and laid on concrete walls and all the while had the drifting campfire smells subtly coming from across the street. Have I mentioned my social time is kinda rough on clothing here in Tahoe??
Had lots of fun and saw some exploding stars along with the usual constellations and a handful of Perseids.

first pic is going, second pic is coming home bundled up and with all my tripod, binocular, pillow, etc jazz with me. You should have seen the load my friend had with his 8mm telescope and all the lenses and such. Looked like he was going on a several weeks' trip.
