Yesterday’s ensemble was inspired by Angie’s post – that’s two-for-two this week! I didn’t do the hard edge part. I chose (like cocolion's) my striped cropped top to lighten the ensemble. Instead of my black gladiators which I wear for more casual outings or with slacks, I chose wide-strapped sandals appropriate for work. I really enjoy this different-for-me silhouette and will keep my eyes open for similar skirts in other muted colors. The skirt does not show on the Macy’s website... but it is currently in the stores – it is of a substantial knit (not ponte), has asymmetric seams on the sides, tapers at the bottom and is fully lined with stretchy nylon. It is a small, feminine-steps skirt
