My new tropical print pants! OLE!

The longer I stare at them, the more I love them. Moreover, you all seemed to love them too! So, this morning I yanked off the tag and plonked them on for grocery pick-up. We're enjoying a false spring and it's glorious a 52F and full sun here. (To be fair, we don't get a true spring in the mountains; it snows through May or June, alternating with warm, sunny days.)

I cranked up Pitbull in the car and felt like I was living in The Keys again.

I haven't worn pants with this much joy in a long time. They are just so comfortable! Not even my beloved Eloquii Leigh jeans make me feel giddy like these do. My husband even likes them on me. He is someone who will provide very honest feedback when asked. I was worried he would find the print wild, but he said he really liked them.

My brown cami was in the wash, so I went with a cool leafy jungle green. Really love the jungle leaf green with the pants! However, I want to find some nicer camisoles in natural fibers. Or maybe I will sew some. (I searched the internet last night; the color selection for natural fiber camisoles is limited, even at Target and Old Navy.) Camisoles are workhorses for me, and the cheap polyester ones I bought are starting to annoy me. I like a scoop or v-neck, for one. And then poly is quite hot in the summer. In the meantime, I am going to buy some thread and ruche the camisoles into a v-neck shape.

Love the wedges I wore. They're very comfortable. However, I wonder if the pants would look better with flats? The pants inseams are already meant for flats; I felt my legs and torso looked oddly proportioned with the 4" wedge heels, even though the wedges are a great color and style with the outfit. But maybe I'm nitpicking. :}
