WIW: travel to London

I'm off to London for 9 days of work - and fun! Heart breaking to say good-bye to Oskar, haven't been away from him from tis long before, but I'm also super excited to spend some time in my absolute favourite city again!

This is what I'm wearing for my day of travelling. Black loose dress, beige loose cardigan, black leggings, black boots, and my golden girl on a swing for accessory.

Thanks JAileen. And yes, it is. But it's also important for me to balance family life with doing other things I enjoy... but preferably I would have liked to be able to combine them on a trip like this

Thanks so much Elle and Katerina! And Elle, I'm so glad I could give some inspiration! I've felt very happy, comfy and put together in this all day, so it's been good for travelling and thanks Katerina, this is my favourite necklace (actually from a market in London, many years ago).

Not sure how old Oskar is, but hope you enjoy the trip. I bet returning will be so sweet.

Gorgeous travel outfit. Have fun, because before you know it, you will be back home again. Thank goodness for Skype and enjoy a little bit of freedom and a break.

Thanks FashIntern and Bijou! Oskar is now 2,5 years old. I have been away from him before, but only for a few days (now it will be 9 days). But yes, we talk on Skype every day, and I know he's having a great time with his dad! So it's worst for me But absolutely loving being in London again, it's my favourite city.

How sweet that he can already skype with you! And very nice that dad is there, so you know he's fine (an option we didn't have). Enjoy your time in the city!

Well, he comes and goes in the camera while I'm speaking to Daniel (my partner) but it's great to see him for a bit at least! And yes, I'm trying to use the fact that he does have both of us which makes it feasible for me to be away for shorter periods, even if I don't want them to be too long.

Thanks Barbara Diane and Sara L! Sara, I completely agree - I mainly go with dresses/skirts and leggings, but I also like skinnies with LOADS of stretch - main priority is for it to be comfortble
