been traveling for 3 weeks. leaving tomorrow again. here is the excerpted version, "play clothes".

HL printed asymmetric dress, theory asymmetric jacket, white clutch (which i got just for the closure!), cole haan opentoed booties.
same dress with another theory jacket and cons
all white with the same jacket in #1 and heels in #2. closeup of the bib necklace
same white outfit with sneaks, clutch and taupe cashmere dolman sleeved cardigan

i brought 8 pairs of shoes, tons more clothes and still managed to do carry on only. i spared you the rest of the capsule wherein i wear the jumpsuit in public...i did, i really did.

OMG - is that the dress that Shannon has ordered? It is amazing!! I LOVE how you have dressed it up and down, both. It's fabulous both ways. Genius design.

Just from what you showed us, I see an incredibly well-edited travel capsule. Gorgeous neutral fabulousness.

You got 8 pairs of shoes into a carry on...plus clothes? WOW. You need to give us all packing lessons, okay?

But we need to see the jumpsuit pictures, too!

suz, it's the same style as shannon, but hers has a prettier print with the blues. this one is greys. kind as always with your compliments, but you didn't see the trauma as i got a teensy bit chubbier due to all the conference food and eating out so clothes that were goldilocks became a touch too snug vastly limiting my wardrobe to the stretchy.

beth ann, thanks. unfortunately, this travel was a chore. back to back weeklong meetings across the country. i am in major sleep deficit.

I have my mouth wide open wondering how on earth you could pack 8 pairs of shoes in your carry on along with all the outfits-----that shows spunk and I love it! Great outfits dressed up and down-perfect travel capsule.

Gosh, you have such an amazing sense of style. I love the dress in all iterations. SO cool and pretty and chic! I die at how fab it looks with the Cons! How'd you do that? Love the white out with the bib necklace it looks so dressy with the jacket and polished casual with the cashmere cardigan--yum! Sleek and polished times 4, bj!

Oh no - so sorry that the pounds snuck on again - that is so frustrating. But stretchy is good for so many reasons and especially in a suitcase. I find that travel also can bloat me sometimes even if it is not actual weight gain, so I don't feel like myself. Crossing a lot of time zones is rough on the body. Hope you get some time to recover. You can wear your "PJ" pants!

This is a super-cool travel capsule! I especially like the dress with the booties and then the magical transformation of wearing it with the cons! Sounds like a tough schedule!

Re shoes, i brought 3 pairs of sandals and i wore the cons on the plane. One pair of sandals snuck into my "personal item" allowance, so cramming the rest into the suitcase was less of a magical feat.

The packing waste was taking the mini hot roller set without the pins. Ummm, can you say useless?!?

Any tweaks on #3/4 to increase fabness?

Also, gotta cheer a woman unafraid of making sure she's well and aptly shod for every occasion---and I still need packing tips for 6 pairs in a carry-on, please, once you catch 40 winks...
