WIW today and yesterday - no more boots!

I'm really happy that I'm out of my boots and able to wear shoes again. The weather was really nice! I did like both outfits, but the one with the skirt was definitely more fun.

The jeans relax quite a bit with wear (and my weight is always fluctuating), but I like the way they fit. Not as roomy as my bfs, but still relaxed - maybe more like slouchy skinnies.

I really like this one! Textured hose would have probably been better, but I think the tights are alright. I actually prefer this without the scarf, but I have a sore throat and didn't want to go without one. Does it work with the outfit?

Awww but I love boots, we don't get to wear them enough here in California :(.

1-2 they do look like slouchy skinnies and way comfy.

3-5 I guess I'm a big scarf lover so I do think it works with the outfit and you don't look sick at all. I wish I could look as good as you when I'm sick. I'm like death walking when I get sick.

Thanks Kalli! I guess it's because I've worn my one pair of boots almost two months without the possibility to change them up and that's a bit much even for me. I definitely need to find some booties next fall so that I have another option.

You look great in those jeans and I love how you've tucked and belted that beautiful top. I think I like the second outfit best without the scarf, because the vest draws attention to your lovely neck and hair. But it works with as well. Very fun outfit!

I like both outfits. I agree the second one looks cleaner without the scarf, but I understand the necessity of staying warm when you're sick. I like the plaid skirt and the denim vest together.

Thanks Sara! Agree about the plaid with the denim vest, I'm going to wear this again with some variation.

Thanks Suz! Maybe it will become colder again, but at the moment it's quite nice outside (although it's still really cold at night and in the mornings). Those new jeans were the perfect find. And only for 20€!

How come the weather in Berlin already has warmed up that much? Two weeks ago, it was really cold. Good for you, though:) I like both outfits! You look very comfy and relaxed. I like #2 both with and without the scarf.

Thanks Ingunn! It was 13°C in the sun today. And we had a blue sky the whole day! Our weather is always all over the place. Very fast weather changes aren't uncommon. Storing my clothes seasonally would never work, I might wear spring clothes already only to change into some warmer clothes again in April.

Such lovely texture and layers. I'm pleased for you with those jeans, they sound fab. I really like the denim vest in #3,#4,#5. It looks a pefect short layering length. It's close, but I do think I prefer it without the scarf too.

Both outfits are really lovely! I really love the partial tuck of your blue and purple top with the new jeans. Those are an amazing find for sure! The skirt outfit is fun with the vest, I do agree it is a little simpler without the scarf but I think it works with it too. Hope the sore throat is improving.

Both great as usual! I think #1 could also be fun with a printed scarf for some pattern mixing on another day (ooh something green maybe?). #2 works nicely both with and without the scarf, LOVE that little denim vest!

Thanks Diane! Yes, the vest is the perfect length to go over skirts. And I guess dresses too, if I had a summer dress. It ends just at my waist, which is hard to find.

Two great outfits! You look lovely. The skirt outfit is my fave too. The denim vest looks amazing and the mix of texture is very cool.

I love all the pieces of the 2nd outfit, but I'd make a couple of modifications to play with proportions a little bit. I think the skirt would look better if it was slightly shorter - just above your knee! I'd also like to see the scarf wrapped around your neck once (not double looped) so that the tails are longer, with one tail longer than your denim vest - it almost looks a little short the way it is currently wrapped.

I've kicked my boots too, I cannot believe that just last week we had the biggest snowfall in one night and now it feels like spring has been here forever. Winter had ended, yay!

Thanks annaj! The skirt was too long when I bought it and actually is already hemmed. I can see how a slightly shorter length might look good with the oxfords, but I think the midi length is more modern and looks great with my boots. And this is mostly a fall/winter skirt, so it gets worn way more often with boots than with shoes. As for the scarf, I often wear my scarves more drapey, but in this case I needed the warmth.
