This morning I noticed that I'm now a veteran, and I figured that to mark this momentous advancement I should wear something more than the same old boyfriends and a sweater or tee. But I'm a junior veteran, so please keep your expectations low here!
I've been thinking about Angie's Trendy Casual Classic Ensemble, and decided to try it with beige jeans instead of black, since we're having a spring heat wave (just over 70 degrees today!) I tried it with a striped sweater, and two different denim jackets, but there was something about the pants that didn't look right to me. I then abandoned the trendy casual look, and tried the sweater without the denim jacket and with white jeans, but the sweater alone broadened my shoulders to much. I ended up exchanging the beige skinnies for oversized white skinnies and switching out the sweater for a tee. Even that didn't look quite right, so I switched out my tan oxfords for silver smoking slippers, and added a silver necklace.
1) AG stilt roll ups, Nordstrom Brass Plum denim jacket, V::room sweater, AG belt, Franco Sarto faux oxfords
2) Same, but with J Crew denim jacket
3) Same sweater with oversized Paige optic white jeans
4) #3 with BP jacket
5) Final outfit - Paige jeans, J Crew denim jacket and Halogen tee with silver shoes and necklace.
All of the trying on and pondering outfits took so long that I ran out of time to fold laundry. It's still there, waiting for me!
BTW, this is hair, day 2. All I did was brush it this morning, because I was on my way to work out.
Thanks for looking. I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions!
