WIW today and, belt or necklace?

I’ve been enjoying everybody’s holiday posts. My holiday outfits were jeans and sweater for staying at home, no guests. Now that I’m back to dressing for work, I thought I’d like to ask your opinions on WIW today.

I’m aiming for a more minimal style with this outfit. Black and white only. The first photo is a close-up of belt detail. On the second photo I’m wearing a cocoon cardi (I still love my cardigans even tho’ they’re not getting much love around the forum nowadays) for our cold morning. On the third photo I removed the cardi as I will do this when running errands after work today.

My questions: do these two (with and without cardi) look better with the necklace, with the belt, or with no accessories? If no accessories, maybe bigger earrings? Maybe a longer, simpler pendant necklace (I grabbed this one quickly and might be too busy). Different style belt? I appreciate feedback and suggestions. Thank you for looking.

I actually like version #1, without accessories best. Looks good!

As parkmommychic said, nr 1 without anything is my fave, too., love the white cami under the black Vneck! I never did that before, greaT inspiration! Oh, and this is a great cardi, and YLF!:-)

I like #1 best too! But I often leave everything off nowadays. You look great in black & white.

Thank you parkmommychic, lyn67 and Astrid for the quick feedback – I'm taking off all accessories now to go run errands I need to start training my eye more and hold back on adding what I think are finishing touches to my outfits, I might just be making them busy and less modern.

YLF I like #1 too, then #3.

I like 1 best as well! I think because the necklines add so much interest on their own, that then the earrings are enough. And I love my cardis too! I think the belt looks neat under the cardi if you want more interest, so that would be my other option. I don't care as much for the belt without the cardi.

Another vote for #1. I like the outfit best with the cardi - the cocoon/cascading neckline also adds interest. You look great in black and white!

Gracie, I love this! My preference would be without the belt and the necklace Im a minimalist at heart. The earrings provide enough 'adornment' to my eye. This is such a fab, streamlined look. You look gorgeous.

OK, I am going to be the differing one here. I LOVE #3 with the belt, especially without the cardi. But they all look good, and you can't go wrong with any of them.
