WIW to work with fashion sneakers

Hi, Today I tried out pairing my new fashion sneakers with gray boot cut work pants and a navy sweater. I realized it was pretty monotone so I added my red rain jacket. I would love suggestions for variations on this outfit. The shoes were reasonably comfortable but I did feel a little like I was dressing like grandpa -but in a trendy way. Overall l like this and it felt good to try a completely different look. (Please excuse end of long work day hair and makeup!)

No grandpa at all. The neutral palette is quite sharp, even without the red.

No grandpa here . How about some jewellery or a scarf , or something with a nod to the sneakers ( belt bag worn as a cross body , chunky jewellery , white bag , striped scarf , etc) .

Nice outfit and fab raincoat ! Lisa p has given excellent suggestions. I would suggest a statement necklace or a funny belt. What is the name of the adorable doggie?

You look great (and so does your dog). Adding accessories is a way to have some fun. I find a statement bags and shoes easy to add a bit of interest.

You have beautiful hair, so some of the very on trend hair clips would be fun too.

I think your outfit is fine and just needs some accessories to jazz it up. Like lisap says a scarf, necklace, belt, etc. Great color for a rain coat.

Thank you for the ideas, I have an off white handbag that would really set off the shoes. I also have a white bracelet. For cooler weather I have an off white cashmere scarf and a bright fuschia one. The belt bag is a really cool idea too. I'm definitely not familiar with the fun hair accessories that are trending right now, excited to investigate that.
Our dog is named Tulip, she follows me everywhere so she is in a lot of pictures!

I love the sneakers with those pants, very hip! I like your outfit as is but it would also be fun with some accessories, a cute necklace or scarf. Or you could wear a top underneath that shows at the neck. Great sweater, I like the wrap look of it.
