I’ve been on this forum for a while now, and lurking for a while before that, but these are my 1st WIW’s, so I thought I’d start by telling you a little about me and my style/fashion needs and goals. I would describe my overall style as classic, but I feel like my look has gotten stale.

I’m going to turn (gulp) 50 this summer, and it has me a little disconcerted. When I was in my teens and early 20s I felt like I could interpret styles and trends. Now I feel like I have the pieces and parts, but am missing the ability to pull together.

I work for a fast growing company, were I am the oldest women in my department. Our dress code is business casual, with an emphasis on the business part; jeans and sneakers are never allowed. We have a large group of 20 something, and every year we bring in 2-3 new college grads. So I want to make sure that I look “current”, but at the same time, I want to make sure that I what I wear is age appropriate (loved CoCoLion’s post on this last week).

This is what I wore to work this week. Many of the items are a few years old. Are there any items that should be retired? Any ideas how to refine, update, improve these outfits?

Thanks for taking the time to look; sorry this post is so long.
