Functionality and audience awareness were key to today’s decisions. Today’s events included active teaching and welcoming families for an Author Celebration. As a member or our Leadership Team I was also scheduled for an informal meeting with School Board members to discuss some school wide goals and give an update on a project. (The Meeting was postponed due to a winter storm.)
Happiness factors were the color red (which I think might be the the wrong shade with my new hair), polka dots and two of my grandmother’s insect pins (giving a nod to Katerina).
Thoughts on the shade of red? Is the double breasted jacket too boxy when buttoned? What about the polka dots and the floral bag (which was tucked under my desk most of the day. I chose it for the meeting so it didn’t get much use.)? If the patterns did not mix well, at least very few people saw them together.
