WIW to Work- 4/19-23

This was my week to be on site, and I managed to remember to get photos every day. I tried some new combinations, which was fun.
Monday was warm.
I bought this tobacco colored tee from Target. Loved the color and fabric, but hated the fit. Then I realized it was perfect for layering under this little sheer topper.
Tuesday was cooler.
I wore some old favorites
Wed
this is outside of what I normally wear to work, but very me
Thu I was cold all day lol
Hooded striped top under ponte knit blazer
Fri has been a doozy of a day, so far
all of this is from Old Navy
Looking forward to the weekend!

So many different looks here! I loved the last two the most - that leopard print cardigan is fantastic and I think it's perfect over the denim/chambray shirt. Plus, your hair and glasses are fab.

Great that you could repurpose the tee into a camisole in #1. Clever.

I'm digging the difference between Edwardian Fun and Preppy Fabness in #3 and #4 - and BOTH sooooo you! DYOT is front and centre.

I have a Target top that color too, bought for wfh. Was going to pass it on, cause too close to nude on me, but should try layering it. Your version looks great!

I feel like my work wardrobe is a little schizophrenic sometimes. I haven't yet found a way to infuse my arty/boho side into workwear.

CELIA- that one is a new combo for me
SLIMCAT- range...that's a much nicer word lol
NIKKI- I love that lace piece, and am glad to have something new to layer it over

Love the color combination in that first outfit. You seem to have two distinct style personalities from these pics.

(I'm giggling a little bit about the cold. I kind of delight of complaining about the 65° "cold" when it's snowing back in Colorado.)

What a great range you have...but i can see an underlying boho/free spirit feel in each. Really like the way you’ve layered the double denim in #5 - the leopard sweater adds a nice pop.

Such fab looks! Lots of variety but a clear, consistent point of view and color palette. My faves are #3 and #5--I guess I'm loving the most dramatic looks right now ;).

I love #3 on you. Not to get all Kibbe on you, but perhaps it pulls on your romantic leanings? I see this in #1 too. Color mix in #5 also is a stand out.

shevia- I don't think I have any romantic leaning. I hate ruffles and puffed sleeves,, and I don't like anything sexy. When I was exploring Kibbe, I realized that what I like is actually more ethereal (soft and flowy), and ingenue (lace, high necks, etc.). Bodywise, I come up as a soft natural, but style wise the clothing that actually appeals to me is the ethereal/natural/ingenue combo board.

You have a definite bohemian style that shows in all your clothes. I love all the outfits but especially like the denim shirt and the leopardy cardigan. It's a combination I particularly admire, and you've pulled the proportions together well.

What an interesting series of creative, funny outfits. Difficult to pick a favourite. I like all the colour combinations and silhouettes. Even brown (a colour that I do not wear) looks interesting to me paired with the denim blue of the shirt.
