This is my nod to the Wild West. I live in what might be called the Wild West. We have tumbleweed bounce down the highway in high winds. I pull sagebrush volunteers in my yard. I am not a cowboy, I just like cowboy boots. I’ve wanted blue ones for a long time. If I ever saw blue ones at all, my size was usually sold out. But I saw these Dan Posts in my size this summer, and snapped them up. The CS rep at Zappos told me that brides often buy the blue ones for their “something blue”. While I was still thinking about them, my husband threw out the box. Decision made! Luckily, I like the color, and they feel great.
Today is the first day of early voting. My outfit is not western at all, except for the boots. I’m wearing bootcut jeans, a utility jacket, and am carrying a thrifted Coach bag, in the same denim color.
