I bought this over-my-budget skirt 10 or 11 years ago with the check for writing a book review for the Boston Globe, so that whenever I wore it I would remember how much better my life was than in my 20s. So it seemed a good occasion to break it out. I swear I thought I steamed it successfully but I guess not so much, lol. The silk knit sweater is possibly even older. Worn/photographed at a restaurant in a small hotel. I wore the fabled orange vintage coat over it because it’s still cold!
