WIW to the wedding

Just being on the way to Berlin and it's chaos because of technical problems and the flood waters. Hope I'll be home before tomorrow...

Thanks everyone! Just had to change trains again because we were stranded. Will have to change again soon.

The shoes were a last minute purchase, but I like them and they are comfortable. And yes, that's my sister, she's fourteen.

Thanks everyone! I'm home, relatively early but the journey was exhausting. The train I had to use as a replacement was so crowded that I had to sit on the floor the last three hours. Ouch!

We did have a lot of fun at the wedding! The actual ceremony was with immediate family at Reichenstein Castle overlooking the Rhine Valley and then we celebrated at a local restaurant with about 80 people all in all. Marley, I loved the Mercedes too! The car's owner is a friend of the bride, it's a 1967 model.

I've been to Reichenstein Castle! When we lived in Wiesbaden we often took drives along the Rhine. What a fairy tale setting for a wedding. You look so beautiful, Astrid! I LOVE your floral dress, and it is perfectly accessorized with your cardigan and shoes. Your sister is adorable and love her outfit too! Thank you so much for sharing!
