It's been a while since I've done a WIW, but lately I'm just trying to get through the days, fashion wise, without being embarrassed if anyone sees me.
But Mr. M snapped a photo of me as I exited the room where I got second dose Covid vaccination. I felt exultant! At last!
Today I went with him while he underwent a procedure at a different clinic, so I got a photo of today's outfit. After some days of spring-like weather it has been cold and rainy, so it took some planning. I had to sit in a waiting room for who knows how long.
#1 Vaccination outfit for both doses: I have a dark blue tank under a BR short-sleeved tees, worn under a warm Uniqlo jacket and black NYDJ ponte pants. I didn't realize util I looked at the photo that my hair and shiny Ecco shoes kind of mirrored each other.
Difficult to see, but I did finally buy a paper clip necklace when they went on sale at Macy's. I decided I might have more use for the silver. First time I've worn it.
#2 a baggy pair of Wit & Wisdom pants bought at NAS last year. They are comfy, but not quite what I like on my body. But comfort is key when you are sitting in a waiting room. Worn with a new BR cotton ls sweater, my old Boden navy blazer, and a scarf you can't see well, but keeps my hair from going down my neck. And my new SAS walking shoes in pale denim blue.
I'm going to do another post on my new walking shoes bought this year--3 pairs, 3 different brands.
I had my second dose Sunday, March 7, and up until today I had a slight fever and didn't feel great, along with some fatigue. Mr. M had a bit of a sore arm but then, nothing.
Another week and I could get a hair cut! Not sure what I'm going to do about it. I'm tempted to see how long I could get it to grow. You wouldn't know by looking at these photos, but I did attempt to put some curl in my hair both days. I might have some curl in the morning, but by noon it is pretty much straight. Last year I tried some heated curlers. Long ago I did have success with heated curlers. The curlers didn't work and I sent them back to Amazon. Surely there is something out there that would work.
