Thanks, everyone! The baby shower was fun, and there were no dumb games. Just good food, good conversations, and opening of many very cute baby gifts.
Firecracker, I think you're right about the heeled danskos. My old red mary Janes and my cognac sandals are both the 2" heel with 1" platform sole, which is essentially flat for me and very comfy. I think the foot sliding is particularly bad on me because I have flat feet so have no arches to hold my foot in place.
