W.I.W. To see Maleficent.... - YouLookFab Forum

Greetings, I took my oldest and youngest Neices to see Maleficent and to have a late lunch. My oldest niece has been a fan of the charter Maleficent for over 15 years she just turned 21 she was not a fan of sleeping beauty. Her sister is 12 and loves scary movies she had no clue about Sleeping Beauty. So, we enjoyed the Saturday together and this is what I wore.

1). Pink denim pants with beautiful flowers on them that I decided to roll.

2). Champaign colored equipment blouse sort of high low with roll tab sleeves.

3). Tan vest, oh yes I love a good vest with double belt.

4). Tan cap, assorted costume jeweler and cut out shoes.

5). My favorite find a beaded shoulder clutch.

All items except the shoes were found at thrift stores. Thrifting is so fun to me. So as usual all comments or look sees are welcome. Enjoy the rest of your day.

P.S. The movie was Awesome.......

Ummila my oldest niece put this one together she said I tend to dress darkly and wanted to brighten me up. I have the perfect fit for this movie I just might wear it next time. I'm going to see this one again because I'm a nerd like that.

Annagybe - thank you I'm all out of ideas for summer dressing and I can't wear black all the time so when my niece put this together I really loved it.

Shedev- it was such a great compromise for the look and it still felt like Ladywone.

Shevia- Nieces are the best I love being an aunt. I hope you had or are having a great weekend as well. I think the energy you have on the inside manifest itself on the outside and clothes should help project a positive energy.

Debora- did I say the movie was Awesome because it was. If you can't get hubby to go please go see it yourselff or with a friend. It was Awesome Angelina was born to play this role.

Neel thank you so much you are a joy as well. Fashion should be fun. My oldest niece is my occasional photographer for the summer before she goes back to graduate school. She says I should do superhero poses. It makes taking pictures so much fun.

My favorite part of this is the tonal layers effect. The details are kept in check with a soothing, common color scheme. Your poses win my vote for best WIW shots of the month… and you are inspiring me to get more creative! I usually stand in the exact. same. pose. Like a stick figure.

I like the light neutrals, with some playful prints and colored accessories. I think the shirt as vest would look fabulous over a skirt, too.

Omg, the jeans are fantastic. I'm so impressed with your vision. I would have passed them up, I know, because my vision for them would have been just so weak.

It's mental laziness. That's my problem. Hehe.

See Rachylou I have an big problem it's called "oh that's sooooooooo pretty". I need help. I do that for other people that how my side hustle started. I get familure with people and I start to say this would look good on such and such or this piece would appeal to this creative or business person. Then people would give me money for doing this.

Well it was kind of hard to take the money because all the clothing and jewelry shoes comes from the thrift store. It is my creative outlet my zen and so much more. Anyway you are far more creative than anyone I know because You make me laugh with your responses as well as your thoughtfulness.
