WIW to rock out, plus WQueenW :D

I've missed you guys, been hither and thither with relations. Last weekend, we went to see Queen and Adam Lambert in Vancouver and it was AWESOME. I highly recommend. Up there with Muse and (long ago) Pink Floyd as the most fun I've ever had in an arena while being assaulted with amazing vocals and guitar

#1 - What I wore: black leather, fake fur, and animal print influenced by.... what they wore

#3 - Adam and Brian May (trend note: white sneakers, white pants, leather vest)
#4 - Adam channeling the lion king (trend note: animal print and coronets??)
#5 - (trend note: studs, fringe, platforms....gold fan????)

Ummlila - killer queen was a highlight -- it involved a chaise lounge and a bottle of champagne, much of which ended up on the front rows

Jeanie - I've long admired Adam's style. It's often fab, and he definitely has a lot of fun with fashion, on stage and off.

Ha! We went to the Queen concert on Tuesday in San Jose with my MIL - she's a huge Adam Lambert fan. It was a lot of fun, and Adam wore some of the same outfits. I liked the spiked sleeves with fringe.

You look great. I had planned to wear something similar, a graphic tee, jeans, and my faux leather jacket. But it was 95+ deg so I opted for an animal print knit dress and my gladiator sandals. I threw a sweater in my bag but never needed it.

You look amazing in that all black outfit; your coloring really makes it work for you. Fun concert pics too. Thanks!

pil - thanks! I love those boots and have had them for a long time. ah no, those are pro pics, not mine. I was near the back of the floor but there were huge screens and a good view down the aisle so I could see all the action luckily.

On a separate note: I remember a few years ago a friend, whose daughters were about to hit the teenage years, said "I must be very old. They told me they liked some Justin B. and I had to google him." I don't know if I'm old, but I definitely live on another planet and had to google this Adam guy (Is it OK to say that, even at such forgiving place as YLF? )
