Casual outing taking mom to her appointment.

Hoodie: Ann Taylor cashmere almost 10 y.o.

Blazer: Ann Taylor

Jeans: Joe's Jeans

Boots: dv

Question: What do you do with the skinny jeans and ankle boots? They are too narrow to cover the top and boots are too short to tuck in Thanks for looking and advise. And any suggestions are welcome.

Beautiful take on Angie's formula! I, too, like the scrunching as you've done it. This is such an elegant and refined "hoodie" look, and I think the colors are beautiful together.

Super cute and clean, comfortable and appropriate.

The phone cover in these photos throws me off a bit, because it's not really an accessory you are wearing perse.

The hoodie looks great under your blazer. I think that the scrunching of the pants with the booties is pretty much your only option, unless you wanted to try cuffing them, which might not go with the casually elegant vibe you've got going on.

I've been wearing them scrunched as you did, but I'm going to try cuffed ( with and without visible socks)

You look great! I really like this outfit. I would just let the bottoms of the jeans scrunch at the top of the booties.

Interesting color scheme, it works! I think what you've done with jeans + booties works. Here are some other techniques maybe worth trying? 1) Stretch the bottoms of the jeans over the tops of the boots, most skinny jeans do this on my ankles or feet. Or, 2) roll them to just above the boots for a cropped look.

Lovely outfit! I think I'd scrunch the pant legs on the outside of the bootie, or perhaps cuff, as Cocolion suggests. This is a great look, good for a day running to appointments!
