This fantastic "tree" was in the house we rented on vacation. We loved it!

My white eyelet pencil skirt from Old Navy is proving to be difficult to style. I'm on team tuck, but not with this skirt. It may be that I should have sized up. I kind of like it with this thrifted sweater from Casual Corner, but I'd welcome other ideas.

I like the outfit! Chambray and white are a good combination. So if you have a chambray or denim shirt, you could wear it untucked with the skirt, sleeves rolled to show your arms, for a similar effect as this sweater.

I can see how styling an eyelet skirt could be hard. Does one treat the eyelet as a pattern or a texture? How about wearing it with a semi-tucked tee? I'd kind of like to see it with a navy- or black-and-white striped one.

You look great hugging the tree! You could also try a shorter sweater also kept untucked if tucking doesn't work for you with this.

Cute! I like the combo you've done. I would probably also wear an untucked sleeveless button front shirt. Also maybe a tucked tank with partially buttoned cardigan.

Lovely outfit! I think a drapey silk top with a half tuck would look smashing with this skirt. And the home you rented looks beautiful. I hope you had/are having a great time on vacation!

Carter, I have a couple of sleeveless button shirts. I'll try them with the skirt. Thanks for a great idea!

Echo, we did have a wonderful time. Thanks! I like the idea of a half tucked drapey top, silk or otherwise, with the skirt. I'll look for something along that line.

I think you look great! Good suggestions put forth already. I also had an eyelet white skirt that I let go of this year. Mine was definately on the tighter side and it was proving hard to style. I think yours fits well and looks great.

I like this outfit! Simple and easy. The shoes are perfect. I'm thinking v-neck and an eyelet top / jacket. Matchy matchy, but it's eyelet - which is casual and counteracts the matching. It's also more polished, which I'm thinking you lean towards, being on Team Tuck...

What about a short white denim vest? Then you could put a slightly longer tee or sleeveless top underneath.
It's a nice looking skirt for summer.

I'm always a fan of blue and white, but I was also thinking a coral top, tank, cardi, etc., would look great with the white eyelet. I have a skirt that I can't tuck into always either; in this case it's nice to have a few shorter tops on hand.
