I think I've had it with "minimal." Today I felt like piling it on, baby. Hence the pearls and chain and swag.

My DS, age 13, and I had a fun day up in Los Angeles chomping our way through an amazing food market, browsing through books at the hippest bookstore left in California, and then listening to the wildest new opera --Hercules Vs. Vampires, at the LA Opera.

For the walking portion of the day I wore my new Manrepeller Supergas in black satin with gold grommets. For the opera I changed into my white pumps.
