A group of friends got together to watch the ceremony on television last night. We all dressed up as bridesmaids in some fashion. There were teenagers wearing their Mum's old dresses from the 70s and 80s, women wearing dresses from their own wedding, or from friend's weddings. There was an English and American theme with food and decorations.

I wore a dress from my sisters wedding when I was a bridesmaid/matron of honour. This was in 2007. My sister was also a bridesmaid - she had a six month old baby. We bought the dresses from a NZ Designer Ashley Fogel - no longer around. Her dress was silver and mine gold. We wore the same sandals shown here.

For the party I added lots of diamanté jewelry, a vintage fur cape from 1940 and a vintage clutch.

Fun night and I loved seeing the multicultural happy wedding. Meghan looked gorgeous in her simple gown and Harry proud and handsome. The Queen looked hip in her Citron which I am sure Angie would approve of. So much eye candy - I loved Carey Mulligan, The Suits cast, The Mother of the Bride and a very pregnant Zara. Serena looked magnificent as did Amal.
