Gave my talk this morning. Went for blazer, tee, skirt, and flat oxfords. The skirt is pleated and has an abstract animal print pattern that is hard to see in the photo. I was definitely the most dressed up speaker there, LOL. And that's after I decided the heeled booties were too much! I feel like with American scientific conferences, when you speak, you choose two of the following: blazer, dress pants/skirt, dressy shoes. All three is too much.
Anyway, talk went well and am going to chill for a few hours before going back to the conference. Happy Saturday everyone!
