W.I.W. to Choir this week- Layered knit and new 'Shooties'

Hi All,
my Choir group is VERY casual. I am usually one of the more dressed-up there excluding a couple of ladies who come straight from Church.
So, today my Target jeans, long sleeved T. and a knit top I picked up on sale and has been very handy. Note the 'Mullett' hemline (longer at the back.) It was handy for a bit of leg-lengthening when I wore it with cropped pants last summer.
The wedge 'shooties' (Rivers) are very comfortable!

The shooties LOOK comfortable, which is so great in something with a bit of height! I like the jacket a lot, too. I like those high-low tops, too. They can be very useful!

Lyn you look great. This is definitely what I call effortlessly chic. The Rivers shooties look fantastic.. are they a recent purchase? Are they suede?

Yes Deborah, a recent purchase on one of those 4 day sales! I wasn't sure about the high heel but for $22 I thought I would give them a go. They are suede and actually very easy to wear. I also grabbed a pair of Mary-jane heels there recently- same deal- but I haven't worn them yet.

LOL love the "mullet" hemline and the shooties look great with your jeans and jacket. I bet all the other choir members look forward to seeing what you will wear to choir and they certainly wouldn't have been disappointed with this outfit.

Love the low-contrast, tonal color play in the outfit, along with the easy, but pleasing proportions. Frankly, I find it hard to sing well when I'm not at least "put together," so it always surprises me to see people at rehearsals in yoga wear, etc.
