WIW to celebrate Angie’s birthday. Popovers included.

Happy 50th Birthday, Angie!
I have reserved a virtual table for you, Greg and Sam on the lawn of the Jordan Pond House. Please enjoy some of the Pond House’s famous popovers, along with a view of the Bubble Mountains.
In your honor I am wearing a sundress (with nice wide straps) and white sneakers. Both were gifts to me and hence are happiness factors.

A celebration is not complete without my roundup of bangles and other memory pieces.

To celebrate you and all the gifts you so generously give us through your blog and forum, I will kick up my heels and frolic through today. I may even have a cup of tea!

If you ever make it to Acadia National Park, you will be treated to views like this everywhere you go. The Jordan Pond House is a popular destination and an annual tradition for many people, locals and visitors alike. The food is delicious, but their popovers made them famous. They have always had indoor and outdoor seating. This year reservations are required, to provide social distancing and to eliminate long lines. On pretty days, everyone wants a seat on the lawn!
