Hi all! No I have not fallen off the face of the planet - life has just been super hectic of late (as evidenced by the level of chaos on the counter behind me in my photo-taking spot!). I'm taking a quick second to post and say hello before I get caught up in holiday decorating.
It was SUCH fun to meet up with everyone yesterday. I was expecting a colder, rainier day and ended up being a little overly bundled up and found myself shedding layers as the day went by. I'm still working on my casual style, so comments and suggestions for improvement more than welcome. I'm loving my new leather jacket - I do feel like it helps me in my goal for "edging up" my modern classic style. I'm feeling like the outfit on its own might be a bit on the boring side, but it seemed practical for a rainy day in Seattle. I thought about my red suede Donald J Pliner booties and my slouchy skinnies but thought it was a bit much on the "matchy-matchy" side with the red shirt and bag.
