W.I.W to Cancer Research fundraiser w. fancy nails!

Hi All,
I attended a fundraiser organised by my DH and wore my new grey cropped jacket by Basque.
I have had it for ages still with tags on because I felt it was too dressy for my usual M.O.T.G. activities. However, when I added a scarf (not pictured) it gave it a more casual air, so I have promised myself it will come out more often.
My daughter did my nails, so I have included my outfit for Choir yesterday in which I tried to echo the blue and white theme with my white shirt and blue tunic top.

The jacket is really very pretty and nice shape. You could dress it up with some fun jewelry too but definitely you could wear with jeans or trousers for casual.
You look so long and lean in your tonal dressing of blue! And with fun mani - great that you let DD do your nails.

Your daughter is talented. Love the grey cropped jacket in the first outfit. That outfit is elegant, sophisticated *and* interesting. I like the blue/white combination of the second outfit and it's a great example of how to de-bombshell a pencil/straight skirt. The only thing I might suggest for next time is trying out the outfit with boots that are a little more fitted, if you have a pair.

That cropped jacket is great and I'm glad yoy've decided to start wearing it more often - it would look great with jeans. DD's manicure looks more professional than what you'd get at a nail bar. The shirt & tunic look perfect for practice.

Thanks Kiwichik. Yes, D.D. is only 13 but already does amazing things with her own nails and is VERY interested in fashion- a jnr. YLFer in the making!

#1 is so lovely. I really like it. I like #2, too. I wonder about wearing it with bare legs to lighten up the lower half?

I like both these outfits and think you look great in blue. What a fun manicure! The jacket looks like it could easily be dressed down for a more casual occasion.
