WIW: To belt or not to belt?

Debut of my two tone Halogen skirt that I bought during NAS along with a black utility blouse from NY and Co. I am a newbie at this belting thing, so I tried it untucked with the red belt and tucked without the belt. Which do you prefer? (Full disclosure: I wore it tucked because I'm a wimp about trying new looks at work)

Bonus pic of my 2 1/2 year old. She said "I need to get ready for work" as she put on my shoes (on the wrong feet) and sunglasses. She cracks me up.

Thanks for your input, ladies! I wasn't sure if the top was too long to go with the skirt untucked and belted. Glad to know that it looks ok both ways! Maybe I'll venture outside my closet with it untucked next time

I like tucked. I would like the other belted version over black leggings or skinnies. That last picture is adorable:)

it does look good both ways....I rarely find a shirt that lets me do that...I liked untucked for the attitude!

The belted look is more interesting and put together than the tucked one! Go ahead with the belted look. And your little one is so cute!

I like tucked with the skirt, but I think I'd like belted with pants.

I also think it looks really good either way. Which means you can essentially do no wrong. :o)

I would like to see that red belt on the tucked look. I may not work but it might be interesting for a pop of color.

Moira, I tried the tucked look with the belt and the faux leather detailing at the waist did not go well with the belt.

You look good in both, Kathy, but I think the belted version looks less strait-laced and more fashion forward. I like the touch of red.

I prefer the shirt tucked as you can see the detailing on the skirt. Baby fashionista is sooo cute.
