Here with 2 of my daughters, and my Mom, eating seafood on the wharf before going to see Barbie at the drive-in. Not visible, but I put my hair in a high bubble ponytail, like one of the dolls I had in the 60s.
Grace and Frankie (me and sis) at the farmers market. (The striped bag she is holding belongs to me, can you tell?)
Picnic at a park on the shore. I almost borrowed a ditsy-print dress when I packed up mom's stuff, and felt rather left out with only a ditsy-print blouse. I was glad of the linen pants, though, when we all took naps on the blanket.
The star of the show was Arf, the beautiful Samoyed my daughter flew across country to visit us when she found a direct flight. Also a perfect excuse for outdoor venues, for those wary of shared indoor air.
My previous vacation week was spent in Saskatchewan with nearly-one-year-old granddaughter. A highlight was the costume display at a Métis historical site. Buffalo girls, indeed!
