WIW: Tired of the BF

Actually, DH is tired off looking at baggy britches so I switched back to skinnies for awhile. Figure I'll take the BF out for a spin again next week We had one warm day--not really warm enough for shorts but I was too lazy to change. I seem to live in big sweaters and knit blazers, don't I? Can't wait for spring.

love these blues on you. Same thing happened to my BF's as I was wearing them a lot over past couple of weeks. Yesterday, I put on my straight leg regular jeans that are quite snug around my bottom and hubby told me that he was so tired of me wearing those Bf's as he thinks they don't do justice to my shape. LOL!!!

A great set of outfits! I esp like the red blazer neckline and the cream blazer with the purple. I love the double sweater look with the cape over the longer sweater so creative and fab. I am coming back to this post for inspiration for sure!

We are blazer twins in #2 (the red one). Isn't that a great comfy blazer? Your style is really nailed here. You vary the hem lengths and textures to keep it interesting against a core formular of skinnies, boots and knit wear. Nice job!

I'm a casual girl too, so all this looks are incredibly inspiring. You jeans jeans so perfectly regardless of their shape. Loving the outfit with the cream blazer most of all. I also love the oversize sweater looks. You have so much style!

Love every single one of these outfits Kelly - and good for you for giving the BF a day or two off! That's actually one thing I'm really liking about style and this season - all sorts of silhouettes and styles are available.

My favorites are the first and last photos of the first set, but you are so consistent in your outfits -- that's your greatest style, I strength, I think. You know what works and you nail it every day.

And I understand needing a relationship break. My red jeans and I are separated at the moment. They're just attention hogs and I need to think about my needs for the moment. hee.

Well, I was demo-ing my new Gap BF jeans to my hubby yesterday and he gave me thumb ups
Kelly, you rock skinnies so no wonder your DH likes to see them on you. I usually switch styles during the week: skinnies, slouchy trousers, BF jeasn, pencil skirts, flared skirts - so I don't get bored with the same thing.

I really like your style. You always look pulled-together and cute! I especially like the outfit with the cream blazer.

As for giving the boyfriends a break -- well, a girl gets tired of the same thing all the time, right? You look just as fantastic in skinnies and bootcuts.

Thank you for all of the nice comments! I’m glad the “skinnies” formula doesn’t look too boring. I think I need to do a better job of mixing it up though--the pictures do not lie and I wear pretty much the same thing every day. I’m making a mental note to change up the footwear a little bit more too.

@Suz: Thanks! The sweater is Design History (via TJMaxx). I’ve worn it a ton this winter and it’s showing signs of wear. I favor it because of the tapered high/low hem which I really like. Seems to go with everything too. Glad you like my cowl too--it’s very decadent---cashmere and a Noro wool. I lurve it.
@Sarah A: Thank you! The teal sweater is so oversized that I can’t really layer anything over it comfortably. The capelet adds just a bit more warmth for my climate--works for California kind of cold:)
@Lisa: Thank you. Good eye! I copied you on the blazer. I think I ordered it right after I saw you in it. It’s a great little jacket--warm and comfy. Seems to only work with pants though.
@Sveta: Thanks! I agree, I need to try a little more variety. You have mastered that! I’m always so impressed with your WIWs--lots of different silhouettes despite the cold weather.
