Flats with dresses are my absolute favorite silhouette!  So when Angie posted about it, I couldn't wait to wear the outfit that I had planned in my head!  Here's what I wore today to do some shoe shopping with the kids.

I am wearing an easy breezy tie-dye dress (from F&F) and my new black pony hair slip on sneaks (Steve Madden).  My studded black tote (Steve Madden/old) finished the outfit.  Happiness factor was super high!  I love this combo and the sneaks were super comfortable (I had to size up half a size, they run small).

Also, I found these cuties (pic 2) when I stepped into Zara to look for some light colored flats (I didn't quite like anything that I tried).  But look at these!  They are pointy toes D'Orsays, asymmetric toe box which means my broad bunionesque feet don't get squished into it, super comfy AND they are deep red!  Score!  AND they match my deep red tote!  *happy jiggle*  Since I love it so much I decided to style it for you all  Sorry for being such a kid ... but you know my shoe woes!  I am expecting these shoes to be workhorses

Although I had no luck on the light colored shoes front, I also stepped into Birkies to try the Arizonas.  And guess what, my feet really aren't low volume I think, because the birks looked cute and they were soooooo comfortable I could cry!  BUT they were sold out on all the light colored ones and they only had black and dark grey (Argh!  My white shoes hunt could have been over today).  The black were really tempting (on a sale!), but I think I don't need any more black footwear.

So that was my shoe story for today  I am going to bore you all to tears with shoe stories until I find my perfect light colored shoes *giggle*  Thank you for listening patiently and all comments are welcome!
