The next installment of my wardrobe analysis for March.
#1 I love the way jeans and blazers look, but I don't reach for them often. I'm considering a ponte knit one, it might get more wear. I think these sleeves are too long and I need to shorten them, they don't quite work rolled like this. I'm also wondering if I should look for blazers that don't hit at the same place as the sleeves. Because it creates a horizontal line, or am I just being picky? Someone suggested in November that I look for a few belts to add interest to my outfits, I finally found this belt that I liked. I was a little worried about the raisin colored shirt and the green blazer but I think I like it.
#2 It was really cold and I wanted to wear this sweater one more time. I think the oxfords might not be the best shoe choice, but I don't really have any other closed shoes right now. It's a wardrobe hole I'm working on. This is not my favorite outfit of the bunch, I think I should have worn my sized up skinny jeans.
#3 I tried on three different sweaters before I settled on this one. I like the way stripes look, but have a hard time wearing them. Everything else I wear has to be solid to balance the stripes, so I would never have picked this belt before. A little fashion forward pattern mixing for YLF.
So, the proportion I'm seeing here is cropped blazer or sweater that hits just below the waist and slim jeans (is that cropped?). I do own other jeans, I just keep reaching for this pair right now.
