WIW this week to match my purse

Sorry for post and run, but I'm multitasking by posting in batches to try to get back into the groove.
WIW this week (starting last weekend) I found this Dooney & Bourke Zebra stripe bag at a consignment store for $40 and had to have it. Then I had to match my outfits to showcase it.
1-2 7FAMK Josefina black jeans, Michael Kors sweater, necklace?, Fossil watch, Esprit belt, Fidji booties and then for more walking switched to Converse Highness
3. J Crew Matchstick black jeans, Nordstrom cashmere sweater, Wilson Leather bomber, Clarks booties
4. Back to work in AT skirt, BR lace tee and cardi, Munro boots, giant pearl necklace
5-6. Switched purse so I could wear my new JCrew necklace (http://www.jcrew.com/womens_ca.....=PINT00001) purchased 1/2 off . It is stunning in person and I'm currently addicted to statement blingy necklaces
J Crew leopard blouse, H&M sweater, Michael Kors pencil skirt, Kenneth Cole boots
7. Team White jeans on a cold day - Gap jeans, Esprit belt, J Crew liberty blouse, Cashmere cardi from the Rack (great texture), Softwalk Dakota booties

Overall happy with all of these. I'm going back for more of the H&M sweater (it comes in ink blue) because it was not itchy and not expensive (reg $24.95, I got for $6.98) and this caramel color is one of my favorites.

Love that bag! You look great in all of these, but 5-6 are my absolute fave. I don't think I've ever seen anyone wear caramel as well as you do. Be sure to get a duplicate one in this color when you go back!

Holy cow, I agree with carter that you look BEAUTIFUL in that caramel color. I'm not generally a fan of that color, but gosh, you just look radiant in it.

You seem to know color really well. I love the way you keep to themes, like the black and white to go with your new bag. Do you typically dress around accessories (the bag and the necklace this week) or is it a coincidence?

I too love statement necklaces and I can see why that one from J Crew found its way home with you.

I can't pick a favorite, they are all too fab! You have inspired me to pick a theme and dress around it for the week. I think my theme will be: navy! Let's see how far I can get for a whole week.

Top notch styling, every day. Each outfit has an extra pop from choice of watch, as in 1&2, pattern mixing in 3, luxe touches in 4 (I mean to say, really, how gorgeous is lace, leopard and pearls together?)and so on and so on. I can well understand your being happy with these. I find it hard to pick a favourite - I love them all.

Thank you all I am flattered to be a role model. I am getting the caramel sweater in a size down so I have 2 options on styling it (also getting it in ink blue).

Denise - I am just too lazy to change my purse more than once a week so when I want to use one that requires more thought (than a solid or metallic) like my colorblock or this new baby I do plan outfits around it as long as I can so I don't have to switch. For inspiration I also follow Angie's advice on matching outfit to one item such as jewelry. I'm looking forward to seeing your navy week! It's getting cold here so I might dress around my outerwear this week.

I love all of these looks! You look so pulled together but you've got such a nice range of fashion moods on display. My favorite pieces: the bag (of course), the bomber (Beth Ann's idea to pair with the skirt is genius), the black boots in 4 (your legs look amazing), the H&M sweater (cannot believe the price!). And that little sweetie in 5, stealing my heart!
