#1 is the reality A day spent mostly in the garden and cleaning. I tried to cuten it up with a headband, but I'm sure the flip flops are a no-go.
#2 is my beloved new denim shirt again (Banana Republic), very casual with shorts (also new BR) and Converse
#3 was the church outfit - white buttodown, striped skirt (made by me), brown belt

As far as I'm concerned, you're allowed to wear whateve ryou want working in the garden! You look a heckuva lot better than I do when I'm digging in the mud!

Cute casual outfit in #2 - everything fits really well here.

And your outfit in #3 is just lovely!

ah, yes, I remember well the 'reality' of my everyday FL wear. Many tanks, many shorts, lots of flip flops. You look cute for playing in the dirt! I like #2 but can't help thinking it looks really warm for your temps. Maybe you're a tougher cookie than I was!

Mo, it really was a cool day for #2. High of about 82. I've found my internal thermometer has adjusted a bit. I won't go in the pool unless it's approaching 90 now, and I can wear 3/4 sleeves and jeans up until 85.

#2 is my fav! Super cute and I love the longer shirt with the shorts. The proportions really work and the cons are a fun little unexpected footwear (vs sandals). We have had a sort of cool week as well and it is a bit refreshing to wear a few longer things before the heat really sets in! I am always so impressed with people who wear their own creations, very nice church look.

It's heating up here too, JennyAnne. It should break 100F tomorrow, so I'm right there with you. Your church outfit is very fresh. Would you have worn that skirt with a white button down pre-YLF? I like it a lot. And white is so cool, even with the sun beating down on you, isn't it?

I think you look casual but pulled together. As for your "garden outfit", I see local women wear this constantly, everywhere(and yes, even to church). I love your "church" skirt, nice job:)

Claire, I never would have paired a button-up with that skirt before! In fact, my white button-up sat unloved in my closet until I wanted to wear it under a sweater occasionally. I still can't button it the whole way up without feeling silly, though.

You look perfect for gardening - I wouldn't even dare to take a picture of my garden looks.
The denim shirt and white shorts and Cons - very fun !
And you look super chic in white shirt and skirt. That skirt has a crispness that pairs well with the crispness of the shirt.
